Fashion Mistakes you must avoid in 2017

5 May , 2017

Hey fashion lovers!Fashion is something we deal with everyday. Even people who say they don’t care what they wear choose clothes every morning that say a lot about them.

Today let’s talk about the fashion mistakes you should avoid because even the best and the most stylish fashionistas can make poor style choices sometimes. When we say fashion mistakes, we’re not talking about wearing an outfit that could land you on a worst-dressed list, if people were judging or about overspending. Rather, we’re talking about long-held habits you refuse to break, fashion cliches you still believe are true, and small things you’re avoiding or doing that can wreak havoc on your personal style. Don’t despair their are some easy fix.

Wrong Sizing

Many реорlе get their sizing so wrоng. You need to ensure you buy the right size of сlоthing. If thе сlоthing doesn’t fit, don’t buy it. And if you have bought it already, don’t wear it. If уоu аrе losing weight, make ѕurе you buу сlоthеѕ thаt fit your new size or hold off shopping until you are done with the weight loss. Whеn buуing clothes, mаkе ѕurе you сhесk the ѕizing and ensure you get your right size for the store. Sizes mean different things in different stores and countries. it’s even harder to find clothes that fit well.

Wrinkled Clothes

You should never step out of your house lооking wrinkled! We usually  hate ironing but we hate looking wrinkled a lot more,so its better to wear iron clothes than wrinkled as sometimes it also makes a different impression on the other person about your image.

Tоo Many Cоlоurѕ.

Matching colors makes an outfit look more fashionable, but only up to a point .Wеаring toо mаnу different colours will ruin your overall look. When we say too many, it mean more than 3 colours. Kеер уоur colouring ѕimрle by sticking to at least 1 bright colour, and 2 minimal colours at the most, except you are going for a colour blocking look.

Choosing Wrong Designs

Each уеаr, fashion designers bombard us with new pieces and accessories in various designs. However many оf the high fаѕhiоn designs do not suits the regular women. Always opt for designs and dresses that suit you , your body shape and personality.

Just like Caroline Kennedy models a VERY unflattering dress on the Met Gala red carpet – just hours after being hailed by Vogue as one of the ‘best dressed of all time’. A floral flop!

Wearing a short sleeve shirt with a tie

Unless you working It’s best not to wear a short sleeve shirt with a tie. They are generally  perceived as non-social apparel. If you want to stay looking confident and stylish, stick to long-sleeve shirts when wearing ties.

Wearing Wrong belt colour

Weaing a wrong belt can ruin your look. If you’re wearing corporate shoes, make sure the colour of your belt matches the colour of your shoes especially for professional occasions. Also, the finish of the belt and shoes need to match. In other words, if your shoes are shiny, your belt should be shiny as well. If you’re wearing casual shoes or sneakers, make sure you wear a thicker casual belt to match instead of a thin dress belt. For modern look camouflage the Belt.

 Socks and sandals

If you look up fashion past, you will see photos of socks and sandals. The footwear combo has been one of the most derided and universally unacceptable trend for both men and women. And, while the girls can more often get away with wearing the quirky combo ,guys have historically had a harder time pulling it off, as it’s reeked of everything from morning-after frat party fashion to silly tourist trend to bad dad style. However, is that all about to change? This is one throwback to our high school days that we don’t need. Have you seen anyone ever pull this off, and look sexy? Neither have we. So lets not wear them together.

TOO much jewellery

Remember that jewellery isn’t a must-wear. Sometimes your clothing does all the work and you don’t need to add anything to it. For example, if you are wearing a top or dress with a low neckline, you don’t need jewellery. Your pretty collarbone is enough. However, choosing a pair of look-at-me statement earrings is a great idea to bring balance to your look. Jewellery is a lot of fun, and well-placed jewellery can make you stand out. However, wearing too much jewellery at once or wearing all the wrong kind can make you stand out in a way you don’t want to. It also sometimes look awkward. All the jewellery a man needs are watches that will match different outfits, and a wedding ring if he’s married. If you’re young and you like necklaces, go for it. But unless you’re a rock star, don’t go around wearing three rings, bracelets, and a bunch of necklaces at the same time. It looks tacky. Try and limit yourself to no more than three pieces of jewellery.

 Mismatching  styles

Don’t wear sporty sunglasses with a blazer, or a pair of cargo pants with the dress shirt you wear to the office. Keep your outfits coherent and matching in style. Because sometimes mismatching can go wring so should be very care full while doing this.

You avoid horizontal stripes like the plague.

Buying into the notion that all horizontal lines make you look wide is a cliché mistake. Pieces that are made well and fit well—think a classic cotton stripped shirt tucked into dark jeans, a ladylike full skirt with horizontal stripes, or a great striped overcoat—flatters every woman.

You think actual menswear is just for men.

Obviously, you’re not going to pick up a suit at Rochester Big and Tall, but you’d be surprised by how many made for men pieces can work for you. This is especially true at common outposts like Forever 21, H&M, J. Crew, and Zara, whose men’s stuff—think slim-cut button-downs, sweatshirts,over-sized sweaters, and utility jackets,T-shirts, boyfriend jeans often aren’t as trendy as their for-women counterparts, and offer a slightly slouchier fit.

You think short girls can’t wear maxi skirts/dresses.

It’s common fashion folklore that small women simply can’t wear floor-grazing skirts and dresses, but luckily that’s been proven entirely false. In fact, a well-cut maxi skirt can actually give you the appearance of looking taller. And everyone should have a maxi dress in there wardrobe as its is comfortable and works everywhere. Choose solid versions that skim the length of your body, which will create a long vertical line  ,forgo anything with thick pleats or too many layers. Be sure to keep your top fitted a tucked in T-shirt and a cropped leather jacket, for example so as to not drown in fabric. Also, make sure the skirt’s hemline is as long as you can go without tripping, and add a pair of wedges or heels underneath.

Focusing on these points while dressing will make you look more stylish and cool!
