A good news if true for Dior Loyalists.
The brand’s fashion sales growth has dropped in the past year and a half, going from double-digit to flat sales growth in the first quarter of this year. Also since an unexpected exit of Raf Simons in October 2015, the company had been struggling to find a replacement. But all seems to get fine now as Christian Dior is set to announce after its couture show in early July the entry of Maria Grazia Chiuri into French fashion house from Italy’s Valentino, two people familiar with the matter said.
Chiuri would also make history as Christian Dior’s first-ever female creative director in the fashion house’s 70-year history.
It would be very intresting to see Chiuri’s term at Dior if true after she worked wonders at Valentino together with her design partner Pierpaolo Piccioli.
EXCITED? HELL YEAH!!
