Meghan Markle has been making rounds in the fashion industry. She was an unofficial guest at the 2018 Fashion Awards. She presented Givenchy designer: Clare Waight Keller with British Designer of the Year for Womenswear. Clare was the one who designed Markle’s wedding dress.
‘Smart Works’ is a north Kensington-based charity which provides unemployed women training for job interviews and clothes for the same. Markle has visited the charity several times over the last year. Megan has styled several ladies in need and left them feeling more confident and beautiful than before!
It was actually Megan’s office that contacted the charity to collaborate and provide five high-quality garments for the interview, coaching regarding giving the interview and one follow-up session with another outfit. The Charity also allows the women to keep all the clothes that are suggested to them and have brand deals with Burberry, Whistles, M&S, Evans and Hobbs. Markle has been incredibly encouraging to the women who have been previously rejected in the interviews calling them brave and showing empathy towards them.
It is absolutely heartwarming to see the duchess working hands-on with Charities to help the people in need. The Queen must be so proud!
