PARINEETI CHOPRA- BODY SHAMING

Body shaming faced by not only normal people but also to celebrities. The anger and the broken feeling people have inside turns into criticism when it comes to celebrities.

They fat shame them, slim shame them, whatever you might think of.  No matter how perfect they try to be, people still find a flaw and point it out.

Now if we talk about Bollywood star Parineeti Chopra, who made her debut from Bollywood industry. She claimed to have been body shamed a number of times after she joined the industry. She admitted that she is a foodie girl and if she wants to eat a piece of cake, there’s no stopping her and she also feels that no one has the right to comment on how people look and how to fit they are and however she said, “as a part of industry, viewers have a certain right to comment about how she looks or act in a respectful manner.”

Parineeti Chopra, who stunned fans and industry insider with her new fit avatar, said: “it is disrespectful when people shame women for their body type.”

“If you yourself are not comfortable with your body, do something about it. If you are comfortable with your body then no one has right to comment on your body and with respect, if you tell somebody what you think, it is fine. But body shaming is disrespectful and illiterate of something, “she said.

We need to stop this at this very moment, and we can do that by making people who shame others realise how this affects life of those who go through this and how dangerous it is for their minds and bodies both to be body shamed just because they don’t land into the definition of beauty and perfection set by the society.
