Mumbai Based Stylist Tanya Ghavri started as an apprentice to Pernia Qureshi. She assisted Pernia Qureshi in two films- Aisha and Thank you. From then onwards, she became friends with Sonam Kapoor, who supported her and there was no looking back after that.

Ghavri is today styling some of the most famous bollywood celebrities namely: – Madhuri Dixit, Kareena Kapoor, Karishma Kapoor, Arjun kapoor, Siddharth Malhotra, Aishwarya Rai, Katrina Kaif and Varun Dhawan. She had styled Dixit in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa by giving her a complete makeover from heavy ghagra cholis to smart blazers with pants and hair pulled back in a pony. she had also worked with Jacqueline Fernandes in Kick.

Biggest Learnings:

When asked Tanya Ghavri about her biggest learnings as a stylist, “she said , styling for advertisement or events is very different from film styling. she has to understand director’s vision. No accessory or hairstyle can be given without a specific purpose.”

According to her Denim skinnies, a pair of nude heels, a medium sized tote that can be worn during the day as well as at night are some key pieces of her wardrobe that are very versatile.

She would love to style Diane Kruger as she is someone that she had looked up to in terms of styling forever and Kangana Ranaut as she is beautiful and a risk taker.

With Katrina Kaif and Ileana D’Cruz also on her styling list, Tanya Ghavri has made a mark in styling and wants people to remember her as a girl “who made a difference in their lives with noticeable work”.
