#STOPIT, All About Kakcho, Stop It!

Body shaming in today’s lifestyle has become a trend. Body shaming is something that happens mostly to girls than boys mostly people comment on the girl’s body. if they have to bloat people comments on them like they had made some crime.

You would never figure that someone as beautiful and amazing as Gal Gadot could ever be subjected to body shaming. But the haters gonna hate! The lovely Miss Israel calls herself a feminist and wants to be a strong role model for her two daughters. Wonder Woman took 75 years to actually come to the big screen and Gal Gadot was more than happy to play the part of this strong character. But when she was chosen for the part, Gal Godat was accused by many of not having big breasts as the character of Wonder Woman in the comic books does. To this, she realistically replied saying “Listen, if you want to be for real, then the Amazons, they had only one boob. Exactly one boob. So what are you talking about here? Me having small boobs and small ass? That will make all the difference.”

Gal did not let the criticizers get to her and slapped their unrealistic criticism with the sense of reality. She did not even once show remorse over not having the body that she was expected to have but tried to talk sense into the people that big breasts will not in any way contribute to her playing the role of Wonder Woman. And as we all saw in the movie, she did more than just justice to the character. The first female superhero driven movie made 821.8 million USD and needless to say that Gal Gadot was unquestionably the perfect choice to play Wonder Woman. Body shaming is when you’re expected to have the ‘perfect’ body type and when you don’t, you are criticised for it. This leads to people having a shattered self-esteem, low self-confidence and
distorted sense of self. No one should ever be criticized for being comfortable in their own body.
Your body should be a reflection of who you are inside.
Here we have it, folks, another woman breaking the reigns of body shamming and not allowing the
negativity of it get to her. The way your body is ‘suppose’ to be doesn’t remotely contribute to who you are and who you are supposed to be. And this, we have learned from our very own Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot.

We need to stop this at this very moment, and we can do that by making people who shame others realise how this affects life of those who go through this and how dangerous it is for their minds and bodies both to be body shamed just because they don’t land into the definition of beauty and perfection set by the society.

For this, we ask people to come together by taking up a challenge and accepting their mistake in front of the world. Take up this #Mirchichallenge and take a pledge that you ‘ll never body sham, anyone.
